A Worthy Entry

"The Dreamer" sure does have a life that keeps on giving.  Stoked to include him in a 12 Page retrospective Gallarie in Frequency Issue 10.4.  This photo is an outtake from the journey that didn't make the cut in the book.  He sure looks fine as the Medic rips him around on winter gold.

John Jackson, on the left, fly fishes on a down day in Jackson Hole, WY.  We hung out at Travis Rice's house for about a month during the filming of The Art Of Flight in 2011.  Good times with an All Star crew.

"Dreamer" Cover

Stoked to see the 89 Ford on a cover of the super stylish UK mag The Reason.  Along with the cover flick, inside is a 8 page spread showcasing goods from the book.

Mamiya Interview about using their 7II for this project

Always a pleasant surprise when you get an email inquiring if he/she can interview you.  Even better when it's from a company with a deep camera tradition as Mamiya.  That was the case back in early Dec. 2011 when one of their splendid writers Ron and I sat down for an East/West Coast telephone chat.

It was a long detailed conversation about my path as it felt great to recollect the past and how I was introduced to the beautiful craft of photography.  Inspiring to think I've been in this business for over 15 years.  Thanks to all the wonderful creative people I've had the pleasure of working with and to those who I will work with in the future.  Long live film and the gorgeous Mamiya 7II Range Finder.  You can read that interview HERE ..

French Connection

DESILLUSION, a fantastic bohemian type magazine out of France, features a fine spread about the book titled, "The Wrong Way."  These guys are doing it right, keeping design minimal while featuring photography on a canvas style layout.  Love how the youth these days are finding paths off the standard grid similiar to the beatnik esthetic of the 50's.  Keep that desire burning boyz n girlz ..
